The great flight of paper planes


Great paper airplane launch contest at the Pima Air & Space Museum in Arizona in which Melanie Astles, famous aviator participated in a partnership with her aviation enthusiasts.


The Pima Air and Space Museum is an aviation and space museum located in Tucson, Arizona. It is near Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. Pima exhibits over 300 aircraft, some of which are stored in hangars, and the rest outdoors. He is the organizer of this great contest for kids and older.


The competition organized by the Pima air and space museum in Tucson, Arizona took place on November 12, 2022. Hundreds of children of all ages came to compete for the pleasure of seeing their paper plane fly. Of all the colors, many small multicolored planes crossed the wings of legend. The competition took place in front of the F 14 Tomcat.

The Pima Air and Space Museum is an aviation and space museum located in downtown Tucson on Valencia Road, Arizona. It is near Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. Pima exhibits over 300 aircraft, some stored in hangars, and the rest outdoors.


The history of aviation is rich and aviation enthusiasts as well as air and space pioneers still have an attraction for old war planes and collectors' aircraft. Pima welcomed its first visitors in 1976. It covers an area of more than 300,000m2, making it one of the largest aviation and space museums in the world.


The museum visit:


The visit to Pima air and space museum takes between 3 and 4 hours in order to see all the spaces that the museum offers. Pima recommends to start the visit with the outdoor space because in Arizona it is very hot and it is better to do it at pleasant temperatures, especially in the morning. This museum can easily accommodate teenagers or children as there are flight simulators or educational exhibits.
